A science kind of day!

Today the kids and I went to a family science camp at the college. They are doing three this week and todays theme was air. We learned a lot about air pressure, lift, matter, atoms and molcules. It is amazing what you can learn by having fun! We listened to some of the college students give presentations and then did 12 different expiriments. Since the theme was air there was a lot of blowing in things today.

Zack levitating a ping pong ball.

Kaylee's turn.

Studying air pockets underwater.

Blowing up a balloon in a bottle.

Doing balloon races.

Seeing how many pencils he could blow.

Kaylee's turn.

Using air to lift up a stack of books.

Weighing air in balloons.

Avery blowing up a balloon.

All in all it was a great fun learning day! On Wednesday we have another one about flying.
