Nutcracker

On Tuesday my neighbor and I took our girls down to Phoenix to see the Nutcracker. This is Avery's favorite ballet and she was so excited. We got the girls all dressed up and put on a little make-up. Avery did quite well and only got antsy at the end. They also got their picture taken with the sugarplum fairy which Avery was excited about until she found out her sister and her friends were going to be in the picture as well. It was such a special day to spend with my girls and I know we will treasure those memories!

Happy Birthday Jesus!

Jesus is the light of the world.

These are a couple pictures from our candlelight service at church on Christmas Eve. It was such a great time spent together!

Sorry about them being sideways I don't know how to turn them!

A Video For You!

Funny Picture!

When we went swimming at the YMCA the other day we were changing in the locker room and I couldn't find Avery. Suddenly one of the doors opened and there she was! She thought this was quite funny. This girl definitely keeps us laughing!

sickness~

It has been quite a weekend here. We have been fighting the crud. It started with Avery then to Zack and now I have had it for a few days. I am hoping to not have to go get antibiotics again. We have still been working on our Christmas stuff around here. The girls and I made buckeye balls and then today we made our applesauce ornaments. They turned out pretty cute and smell great too, We have some made 10 years ago that still smell great.
Today Zack went ice skating for the first time. He was so excited. I thought it would be frustrating for him but he did awesome! He was going so fast! Of course everyting he tries to do he is good at. He fell a couple times and now claims he has a sore bottom. He wants to go again and now the girls want to go too. Although if Avery goes I will have to put on skates and I don't think I have done that since I was about 6. At least they have walkers out there! Here are a few pictures!

Productive Day

Today was one of those days where we actually get most things done that we planned to. We worked on our lapbooks, baked some banana bread, did some holiday crafts and played some games. Throw in some Christmas books and movies and I would call it a great day! The girls love to cook so they helped with the bread. Of course everyone is game for some crafts. We made handprint reindeer and popsicle stick snowmen. We also played a new game called race to reverse. It was great since we all could play. Tonight we are just doing our Jesse Tree and enjoying ourselves!
